about me

My name is Benjamin Samuel Allison. I work as a graphic designer at studio in Toronto, ON. I’m passionate about writing and performing music, and hope to eventually make it my career.

I hold the belief that Jesus Christ, being fully God and fully man, died and rose again and in so doing became the propitiation for sin. Topics that interest me are non-naturalistic theories of mind, philosophy of science, and theology in general. Thus far I’ve most enjoyed reading Kierkegaard, Dostoevsky, and C.S. Lewis.

While I have next to no formal training in Philosophy, I believe that the mind is no less capable of invention and exploration apart from institutional academia, and that scholarly pursuits only succeed because of self-education anyway.
